Starting from a thrilling alignment of arias and excepts from last decades’ opera repertoire by Portuguese composers such as Alexandre Delgado, António Chagas Rosa, Daniel Moreira, Francisco Fontes, Sara Ross among others, the challenge is in a staged final performance, evaluate contemporary opera interpretation and Portuguese singing skills from a group of selected singers, empowering Portuguese singing tradition and appropriation, specialization and diffusion of Portuguese contemporary opera repertoire among new generations of interpreters.
