Ermin Ašćerić

Ermin Ašćerić (tenor), born in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, studied Vocal Performance at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad under Prof. Ljiljana Lišković and later Prof. Željko Lučić.

He is the recipient of numerous awards at international vocal competitions, including the Lazar Jovanović International Competition, Festival of Slavic Music, Canto Bene, and the Grand Prix at the Vera Kovač Vitkai International Competition. During his studies, he received several scholarships from the Fund for the Advancement of Vocal Arts and the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, and attended the International Summer Academy at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

Ašćerić made his professional debut at the National Theatre in Belgrade as the Emperor in Turandot and at the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad as Remendado in Carmen. He has since performed leading and supporting roles including Alfredo (La traviata), Lensky (Eugene Onegin), Prince Sinodal (The Demon), Nicollo (King Tvrtko), Uldino (Attila), Donald (Gallantry), Anatol (Vanessa), Turiddu (Cavalleria rusticana), and Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly).

Since 2024, he has been a soloist of the National Theatre Sarajevo. In 2025, he received the Bravo Award for Best Classical Performer of the Year at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. The same year, he made his debut at the Croatian National Theatre in the national opera Diocletian, performed Alfredo in La traviata at Operafest Lisboa & Oeiras, and debuted as Anatol in Vanessa at São Luiz Teatro Municipal.
