Rosana Ribeiro
Rosana Ribeiro, born in Lisbon, is a choreographer and dancer based in Salzburg. She trained at the Chapitô Circus School in Lisbon before completing a Bachelor's degree in Contemporary Dance at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD) in Leeds, United Kingdom.
She began her professional career in London, collaborating with internationally renowned choreographers and companies including Hofesh Shechter, Jean Abreu, Cie.7273, Companhia Instável and Paulo Ribeiro. Alongside her dance career, she has performed in opera productions at the Royal Opera House, the English National Opera, and the Barbican Centre.
In 2021, together with Verena Pircher, she co-founded the collective Selva, through which she develops and produces her own artistic creations and interdisciplinary projects. Since 2023, she has maintained a regular collaboration with stage director Daniela Kerck.
