Diogo Oliveira

Diogo Oliveira is a Portuguese baritone with an established career in opera and classical singing. Winner of the First Prize at the Luísa Todi National Singing Competition in 2005, he completed his advanced vocal studies at the National Conservatory of Music in Lisbon, where he studied with José Carlos Xavier. He has also worked with Sarah Walker and Ernesto Palacio.

As a performer, he has appeared at leading venues including the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos, the Teatro Real Madrid, the Teatros del Canal, and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. His operatic repertoire includes major roles by Mozart, Verdi, Rossini, Puccini, and other composers, notably Papageno (Die Zauberflöte), Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Leporello and Masetto (Don Giovanni), Germont (La Traviata), Belcore and Dulcamara (L'elisir d'amore), Schaunard (La Bohème), Ping (Turandot), and Morales (Carmen), among many others.
