Building up an opera Libretto, no matter in which format, it must follow intrinsically this total art form organic, in which music and singing command time. How to create an interesting and strong plot to a Libretto? Composer and librettist have to choose in which moments text or music rule over the show. What are the main differences between a theatrical text and a Libretto?

Starting with Maratona Ópera XXI’s challenge, to build original Librettos, a dynamic conversation and ideas sharing is proposed to all interested on this theme.
